This single-origin, high quality ceremonial matcha comes from the first harvest of the year (May - early June) harvested in Kagoshima, Japan. The hand picked tea leaves from this harvest period are the most tender, bright green + full of nutrients and, after a 3-4 week shading period, create a creamy, bold and rich in Unami flavour that is perfect for your at home matcha.
